Bitfinex, one of the largest decentralized crypto exchanges, said it has temporarily halted trading.

- Bitfinex is the world’s ninth-largest crypto exchange, with a 24-hour trading volume of $712 million according to data by CoinMarketCap.
- The exchange last halted trading in July, when it cited issues with “platform reduced performances.” That outage lasted about 1 hour, 45 minutes.
